How I am Losing Belly Fat

My favorite belly fat diet loss tip is a simple one. First, you must burn more calories than you eat. This means keeping track of what you take in. The other part of the equation is exercise. A good mix of weight training and cardio will also help reduce your waistline.

I have lost 53 pounds recently and did it by using regular foods in the grocery store. I have cut down on fats and sugars and increased my vegetables and fruits. I eat 6 to 8 ounces of protein. I drink lots of water. I feel great and if I can lose weight anyone can.

By drinking a lot of water and by watching your diet, you can lose weight in your stomach area. Also 10 to 15 tummy crunches daily will help to tone those belly muscles. Taking walks and just being active and on the go will help reduce the belly fat if you are just starting out.

Best Tip for Losing That Stomach

The best tip I have is to eliminate your soda consumption, do some aerobic activity three days a week (I choose racquetball to avoid the elements) and to cut out high cholesterol products from your daily diet. I substituted carrots and oranges at lunch for chips and french fries. Just things like that helped to assimilate slowly into the counting calories, eating right part of dieting. It is a slow process; you can't dive right in but after a while it becomes second nature.

Calcium Your Diet's Best Friend?

When woman diet hard they tent to not consume dairy products. This is apparently a big mistake. A study conducted at the University of Tennessee showed that 1100 mg of calcium lose more weight and more inches when dieting.

Without enough calcium, the body appears to create more and bigger fat cells, according to research by Dr. Michael Zemel of the university of Tennessee. Eating enough calcium will prevent the hormone that gives this signal to the body to stop making bigger and more fat cells.

So if you plan on dieting it's time to consider a trip down the dairy isle. Start looking at low and non-fat products. In this study subjects eat three servings of yoplait light yogurt daily. this gave them 1100 mg of calcium a day. The average American consumes 500 mg a day.

The yogurt subjects loss extra weight and inches compared to the control group. There was also a additional benefit. The yogurt subjects were twice as likely to maintain their lean muscle mass. This is important, you want to lose the fat not muscle. Muscles help burn more calories.

The yogurt eating dieters lost the most fat. They lost eight percent more belly fat than their non-yogurt control group. Abdomonial fat is more dangerous than fat concentrated is other parts of the body. Obese people with most of there fat in their stomach area (apple-shape body) are at greater risk of life threating diseases.

So think about adding low or non-fat yogurt to your diet. The calcium in the yogurt appears to help burn fat more efficiently.
